Seung Mina

Description:

Sometimes the funny thing is, I can't remember a lot about drawing a picture, but I can remember what I was WATCHING while I drew it. This one? Predator 1 & 2. I did the preliminary sketch and afterwards decided I would make it Seung Mina, so I loaded up my Soul Calibur game to refresh my memory of her details. Added her hair, clothes, accesories and weapon to the pose I already had and, voila, Seung Mina. It's not a great picture, but I like it a lot. There's a few things wrong with it, I don't like the lines of her right breast and I think her right arm looks a bit chunky and undefined. Anyone reading this is probably sick of how much I go on about how I like this part and that part and, oh, I just LOVE the hair on this drawing, and thinks I'm full of myself. I don't think my pictures are great, I don't think I'm a wonderful artist, I'm just incredibly happy with how my pictures look because I spent OH so many years literally crying tears over my drawings because they were never what I wanted and I was never good enough. I'm just finally seeing some actual results from my studies and I'm loving the progress. I actually am beginning to think my art is better than a child's! Well, except for that five year old oriental girl who paints masterpieces. What I would give to be as skilled as she is at FIVE! That girl's AMAZING. (A teensy bit off topic but...Well, she's something else!)
