I enjoy drawing semi-nude women. Am I strange? 
Seriously, I enjoy drawing semi-nude women.Whoa, Deja-vu...Anyway, I enjoy drawing semi-nude women. I get lots of practice with anatomy and skin is my favorite thing to CG. It's more straight-forward than fabrics and I like it best of any coloring jobs I do. In this picture, I particularly like her hand on her leg, and her foot simultaneously looks pretty good and resembles a sharpei. My hardest features to draw are feet and hands. I think (I hope) It's a common problem among artists. I also like some of the folds in her cover. In the original picture, She was on several different backgrounds. An empty bed with covers, a bed with another person in it, just a mattress with no covers until I finally decided it was too busy and erased it all. I added the covers to her left (our right) and I like the way it turned out. She looks grounded. Maybe the eyebrow in the background could have been shortened a bit to help a feeling of depth. Hindsight is 20/20. Her toes are cute, Hee-hee. Tools: Mechanical pencils, Staedtler pens, Photoshop 7 Completed: N/A |
