Description:
This is a drawing of Cleo from several months back.
I decided to recolor it and in the process removed the
background I once had on it of a dungeon wall and floor.
I'm not very good with backgrounds, as you can tell with most
of my artwork. Well, as you can tell with most of my artwork,
I'm not very good at anything, but that's neither here nor there.
I like the way this turned out. It's not radically different from
the other version, but the skin is a bit warmer and the hair looks
much better. The sword also looks better, especially the hilt. The problem
with most of my artwork is that even the ones that are in some
form of moving or action, they're still static. As my anatomy
slowly improves (I feel like UO...Ooh, I gained a point in anatomy!
Only fourty more points to go til I'm GM!) My characters gain more
movement. Well, I'm a happy girl anyway. It's better than art I used
to draw. To better convey the feeling I wanted for this picture, I should
have widened her legs, had her crouching slightly and holding her arms and
elbows higher, for a more 'ready' pose. As is, she should be toppling to
her left. She's got no balance. Sometimes I worry about the size of the
heads I draw.
